My ambition is to be a world-class jockey. A jockey is a person who rides a horse in a race. I like horses. It is fun to ride. I would like to win races. I would like to be the best jockey I could.

My ambition is to go in to a cave. I would like to do this because it would be exciting and interesting. It would be fun to explore inside. I would like to see bats and insects. I would need a rope and a torch and I would need to wear boots.

I would like to be a vet because I like animals. You get to help animals and make sure they are alright. When animals are sick, you have to help them a lot. They might need bandages and injections. I think when you would have to operate, it would be fun. You have to make sure the animals’ cuts heal. There are lots of types of animals around the world. My favourite animal is a dog. A lot of dogs are very friendly. Some of them need face guards because they bite.

My ambition is to be a teacher. I would like to be a teacher because I would be able to help children to learn. I would like to teach in a playschool. I would help the children to learn the colours, shapes, letters and numbers. I would teach them to play games.

I would like to be a soccer player and I would like to be a forward. I would like to play for Liverpool because it is a good team. I would get a lot of trophies if we played well and won our matches. I would be fit. I would have to eat healthy food. I would get a lot of money.

My ambition is to work at Quad Attack. I would like to do this because I like quads. They are fun. I would teach everyone that comes to Quad Attack how to drive a quad. I would bring small children on a quad with me. I would like to be the best quad teacher in the world.

My ambition is to ride horses. I would like to do this because it is fun. I like horses because they are friendly. My brother has three horses. He likes the horses and he rides them.

My ambition is to be horse rider when I grow up because I like horses. This would be my favourite hobby. I really love horses, especially heavy horses. Even my daddy likes horses. I like piebald horses, fillies, foals and mini ponies.

My ambition is to be a builder. I would like to do this because I like building lots of things and I would like to work outdoors. I would like to build schools, houses, churches and shopping centres. I would have to do courses and train with qualified builders. I am strong and I will have to stay that way to do this job.

My ambition is to become an entomologist. I would like this because I love insects. I would study them and try to find new species. My favourite insects are hornets. They are twice the size of a wasp and may even take tiny lizards back to the hive for the queen! I would like to find out more about hornets. I would also like to find out more about ants, bees, grass–hoppers and all the other insects in the world. I would find this work fascinating.

My ambition is to be an art teacher in a secondary school. I would like to do this because I like art and art is fun to teach. I always teach my sister Fianna how to draw Irish dancers, robots and fairies. During the holidays I would write children’s books. I would like to write stories about adventures and comedies and I would like to write cartoons. I would also like to illustrate my books. My Mammy buys me note pads so I can write some books.

My ambition is to be a comic book artist. I would like to do this because it sounds interesting and I like drawing. I would have to go to art college. I would have to learn how to draw certain things such as people, animals etc. If I was drawing pictures for comics, I would draw funny pictures. I would like to work for The Beano.
