Our Environment Award

On Monday, 8th November 2010 our school was presented with an environment award for earning its first green flag this year. The ceremony took place in the evening in the Ferrycarrig Hotel in Wexford and was hosted by Wexford County Council.

The photograph shows two girls from the Green School Committee and teacher Mrs. Goff holding the Environment Award, along with Mark Hawe (Wexford County Council) and Denis Kennedy.

We were delighted to see Clonroche Development Association winning first place on the night for Best Environmentally Aware and Presented Town/Village. Well done to the Association!
