Our Action Day in Clonroche N.S. - 20th March 2009

Report by Shannon Hudson, Áine Joyce, Maria Lambert and Talia Murphy (four members of the Green School Committee):

Before our Action Day

During the months of January and February 2009, we looked around carefully to find the litter blackspots in Clonroche N.S.
These are the litter blackspots that we identified and photographed:

After our Action Day

On 20th March 2009, we had our big clean-up day. Every class in the school participated. We wore gloves and some of us used litter grabbers. Then we took photographs. Look at the difference. We no longer have litter blackspots.
